DESCRIPTION:The 2025-2026 Guam Society Officers will take their Oath of Office and be sworn in by the Honorable James C. Moylan\, Guam Congressional Delegate on Friday\, January 3\, 2025.  This will also be Congressman Moylan’s first day in the 119th U.S. Congress and as we’ve done in previous years\, the Guam Society of America partners with his office for this swearing in ceremony and gather to wish him well as he starts his next term serving our people and our island of Guam. \nGuam Society members\, family and friends are invited to attend. \nDate:  Friday\, January 3\, 2025 \nLocation:  Guam Congressional Office\, Room 228\, Cannon House Office Building \nAddress:  27 Independence Ave SE\, Washington\, DC 20003 \nTime:       10:00AM – 11:30AM \nPlease note that this is a new location for the Guam Congressional Office (they are no longer in the Longfellow House Office Building). \nAttendees are welcomed to bring a potluck dish (breakfast/mirienda) for the event.  Please do respond to this email or to (202) 525-9021 to let us know if you are planning to attend and what type of dish you are planning to bring.  \nAttendees are encouraged to use Metro or carpool as public parking will be limited.  We highly encourage that you plan to arrive early because of the many visitors expected on Capitol Hill for this first day of the 119th U.S. Congress. \nUn Dangkula Na Si Yu’us Ma’ase/Thank You to all Guam Society Members and their families – we look forward to a great Guam Society Year in 2025!
