DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe annual Guam Society of America\, Inc. Chamorro Night Event will be held on Saturday\, October 11\, 2025 at the Fort Belvoir Community Center\, 10300 Taylor Road (Bldg 1200)\, Fort Belvoir\, Virginia\, 5pm-10pm. \nPLEASE ENSURE TO REGISTER FOR BASE ACCESS FOR THE EVENT\, NOT LATER THAN WEDNESDAY\, SEPTEMBER 24\, 2025 \nCLICK ON THIS LINK TO SUBMIT FOR ACCESS: \nFort Belvoir Access for 2025 Chamorro Night Event \nAll attendees without a DoD Military ID Card or Common Access Card (CAC) must submit their information on the link above for access.  In previous years\, this has been a challenge for the Guam Society and the committee\, so please submit your access information before the deadline above.  Even if you’re not sure that you’ll be attending\, we highly recommend you get on the access list to preclude any issues with entering the Fort Belvoir installation the evening of the event.  No escorts will be available at the Lieber or Tulley Gates. \nEVENT INFORMATION:   \nDATE:  Saturday\, October 11\, 2025 \nTIME:  5PM-10PM \nLOCATION:  Fort Belvoir Community Center\, 10300 Taylor Road\, Fort Belvoir\, Virginia 22060 \nPurchase your tickets and/or make donations to support the event at this link: \n2025 Chamorro Night Tickets/Donations \nTICKETING:  \nMembers: \n\nGuam Society Members (Ages 13-65):  $25.00\nGuam Society Members (Ages 66 and above):  $12.50\nGuam Society Members (Ages 6-12): $10.00\nGuam Society Members (Ages 5 and under):  Free\n\nNon-Members: \n\nAges 13-65:  $35.00\nAges 66 and above:  $12.50\nAges 6-12:  $10.00\nAges 5 and under:  Free\n\n*Vendor Registration Fee:  $50.00 \n*Please email the committee at Chamorro Night Committee or (202) 525-9021 or (703) 705-2643 for vendor information. \nWhat to look forward to at the event: \n\nThe evening will be catered with Chamorro cuisine – the event is intended to have all attendees come out for a great gathering\, enjoy the evening and entertainment and not have to worry about bringing a potluck dish as we’ve done in the past.\nThe announcement of the 2026 Cherry Blossom Princess and Junior Princes will also be made with performances and entertainment along with music and dancing.\nThe event is also a BYOB night – the venue allows for beer (no hard alcohol beverages\, please).   Beverages (water\, soda\, and beer (until it runs out) are included with the meal.\nThere will be a 50/50 raffle and three door prizes for the event.  Look for updated emails on raffle and door prize ticket information on the Chamorro Night event page on the Guam Society website.\nTickets are limited for this event\, so please purchase your tickets early before it sells out.  We anticipate turning off ticket sale before the end of September.\nThe event is open to all in the Washington DC Metro area and any family and friends who may visiting from out of the area.  We are in the second half of this calendar year and ask for your support of the Guam Society – please note the discounted ticket rate for members vs non-members.  Joining our organization is a simple visit to our website at Membership – Guam Society of America\, Inc.\n\nIf you would like to help out with the event/be a part of the committee\, please contact Co-Chairperson Vanessa Camacho via email at chamorronight@guamsocietyinc.org or by phone at (703) 705-2643.
