The Guam Society of America, Inc. and the Guam Congressional Office invite you to attend the Guam Liberation Day Wreath Laying Ceremony on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the World War II Memorial, 1750 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC 20024.
This year’s wreath laying ceremony commemorates the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Guam and is hosted by Guam Congressional Delegate, Congressman James C. Moylan and sponsored by the Guam Society of America, Inc..
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is open to the public. The Keynote Speaker will be the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, General Eric M. Smith.
The ceremony will be attended by members of Congress, and various dignitaries and VIPs from Washington, D.C. and Guam with performance by the Kutturan Chamoru Foundation.
Please arrive early as parking is limited around the World War II Memorial. The ceremony will be held in front of the Guam Pillar at the Memorial.
